Our Mission

The National Association of Direct Offering Specialist and it's affiliated Chapters were founded to establish, promote and educate a recognized class of service provider that is experienced, fully qualified and bound by a documented code of ethics and conduct.

This class of service provider specializes in direct public offerings and / or private placements that are exempted from Regulation by the Federal Securities and Exchange Commission. The Direct Offering Specialist , as required, will operate under state based rules and regulations.

A Direct Offering Specialist is a dedicated service provider who assist small emerging businesses in their efforts to make direct public offerings and / or private placements of their debt and / or equity securities.

Association Profile

The Association does not, and will not, support any effort that will reduce small business' ability to perform direct offerings themselves or in any way limit small businesses' access to other service providers.

The National Association of Direct Offerings Specialist  was organized in early 1996 by an active concerned group of DPO specialist practitioners.
